Born in Annecy, Presia is the result of a dense, multi-layered musical journey. A drummer since his teens, multi-instrumentalist, sound designer and composer for film and installations, Geordie Piseri-Diaz has fused these artistic lives into a single project, at the crossroads of club culture, analog textures and emotional intensity.
Shaped by 90s grunge and rock, then by post-rock and math-rock, he spent five years as a sound technician at Le Brise Glace (Annecy) before turning to electronic music. This double culture — organic rhythm and electronic production — gave birth to a sound he calls Grunge House: somewhere between the raw energy of the dancefloor and an electric melancholy. Since 2022, Presia has established himself as a figure of the European underground scene, with releases on Isolate, AEON, MicroCastle, When We Dip, Abracadabra, Urge To Dance, Moodmusic, Art Minding, Empore, Sanctuary and AOC. His track « To Standunder » was released on AEON, Alex Niggemann's label, who also signed its remix.
In the booth, the approach is that of a musician first and foremost: a real journey, real energy, a reading of the dancefloor built on twenty years on stage — the music above everything else.
« Penumbra », produced in 2022, found an unexpected second life: played by Dombresky at EDC Mexico and featured in his live set, it was reissued in 2025 on Abracadabra as a rework by Luch — #13 on the Beatport Melodic House & Techno chart, carried by Blond:ish all the way to Pacha.
Presia sculpts an aesthetic where club intensity meets organic fragility — the alliance of instinct and sensitivity:
Sound design — immersive and narrative. Electronic production — raw, hypnotic, emotional. Organic composition — real instruments (drums, guitar, bass, vocals) and analog textures. Each track becomes a space of tension, release and rhythmic mysticism, where the intimate and the collective meet.
